The region surrounding S473 in AKT1 is highly similar to the corresponding regions in AKT2 and AKT3, and the immunogen used for this product shares 100% homology with these isoforms. Therefore, cross-reactivity with AKT2 and AKT3 phosphorylated at the equivalent serine residue is possible, although this has not been confirmed experimentally. |
